DAVID YERBY

Even though I go by Yerby most of the time, my name is David. I'm based in Arkansas, but will travel anywhere.

In my 20-plus years as a Deaf professional photographer, I've discovered that collaborating with clients, art directors and other professionals is essential to achieving incredible results.

I've had the pleasure of working for these clients.

The Clinton Foundation

Sports Illustrated

Teen Vogue

USA Track & Field

ESPN the Magazine

Arkansas Razorbacks

The Grammy's

National Education Association

and many more.

When Yerby was five years old, he first met Bill Clinton and was given an award by him. Later, Bill and Hillary employed David to work for The Clinton Foundation, and he was able to capture images of four U.S. Presidents and the First Ladies during the dedication of the Clinton Library in Little Rock. Yerby won the William Randolph Hurst prize during his time at the U of A for his portfolio work in news and sports photography. He has won well over 50 photographic honors over his career. Although, he is a very versatile photographer and can shoot anything you put in front of him. His favorite things to shoot are exteriors and interiors, editorials and advertorials along with portaits.

Yerby's clients gush about how much his photography has helped their careers or businesses and how much they love working with him. He maintains a professional demeanor and exudes a sense of ease with those he is filming. Yerby likes to play a few rounds of golf and watch football in his free time. He also enjoys taking his family on day trips across Arkansas, and lives in the lovely Hot Springs Village with his wife and kid.
